Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) Diagnosis and Management

A program is currently being developed to build the capacity of nurses and Aboriginal Health Workers in sleep apnoea diagnosis and management in rural and remote areas. This enables community members to access sleep health services without extensive travel.

What is OSA?

Obstructive Sleep Apnoea is a condition in which a person frequently stops breathing during their sleep. It results from an obstruction of the upper airway during sleep and results in poor sleep quality.
